ABOUT ME

I’m an emergency medicine specialist with over 15 years experience as a doctor. I emigrated from the UK in 2010, worked and lived through the Christchurch earthquakes and completed my specialist training working across the beautiful Te Waipounamu (South Island) of Aotearoa New Zealand.

I founded a mentoring program, developed multiple staff wellbeing initiatives and currently hold several leadership roles including Clinical Director of medical workforce development and Medical Director of Triage-Plus. Building on my mentoring experience I trained as a coach after having coaching myself and realising what a game-changer it was.

In 2024 I completed a postgraduate certificate in professional supervision which provides solid foundational knowledge of the theories and models underpinning professional supervision, followed by an extensive logbook and reflective assignments to develop my own practice. I’m currently working towards credentialling with the International Coaching Federation and am compliant with their code of ethics. I participate in regular peer group supervision through NZCMC and Supervision Collective Aotearoa and have my own professional supervision to ensure my practice is the best it can be.

I live in Christchurch with my husband, two young sons, our dog Daisy, three chickens and a very overgrown vegetable patch. When not at work I’m in the hills or out at sea finding new ways to have adventures with my family.
